With powerful hook laden Pop/Rock, Amy Hailstone invites you to experience songs that are soul-searching in their exploration of love, dreams, loss, and hope. As a singer, songwriter and guitarist, this artist invests her music with her whole hear. Amy’s new album, Refuge, produced by Dan Strain, clearly demonstrates that this guitar slinger delivers her own unique sound and style.

Growing up as a sixth generation musician in Gillespie IL, Amy began to play the piano at five, and then as a teenager her passion for writing became apparent, as well as her obsession for playing the guitar.

Amy went on to study guitar and voice at Lewis and Clark College in Godfrey IL, and Music Tech in Minneapolis MN. After graduating Music Tech with honors, Amy fronted a cover ban and toured the United States non-stop for two years. In 2000 she started her own record label, New Tattoo Records, and released her debut album. Along with writing and singing the songs, she co-produced and played ll of the guitars on the project. Touring throughout the Midwest as well as playing the Borders Book Store circuit in support of the CD helped her to earn a wide fan base. Promoting the record, securing gigs and distribution, also taught her how to balance art and commerce.
